Sitting in a large rural site with a mature apple orchard this court yard house nestles to the north side of the site opening itself up to vies across the landscape to the south and east.

The building takes the form of a group of smaller agricultural buildings with the accommodation wrapping around a sun filled court yard which the living spaces and master bedroom open onto.

The upper portions of the walls externally over hang the lower portion and are finished in a rough cast plaster. The over hang houses external lighting to keep the external façade clear of appendages. Internally the over hang is mirrored to create a recess for lighting and curtain tracks which allow the openings full width to be free of the curtains when open.
